Job Description:

Traveling Registered Dietitian for HHS Culinary and Nutrition Solutions. Travel will be nationwide. 


Salary: $60,000 


In this role, you will oversee all aspects of meal service, medical nutrition therapy and regulatory compliance in facility assigned. The Business Excellence RD provide operational support and training to all staff, manages physician’s orders for therapeutic diets and supplement formularies and maintains clinical nutrition policies for regulatory compliance. You will also build relationships with other members of team to achieve a quality standard of care and ensure patient’s satisfaction and nutritional needs are met.

Responsibilities:



  • Hire, train, and mentor registered dietitian and diet technicians

  • Monitor dietitians competency for regulatory compliance.

  • Enforce disciplinary policy and follow through on procedures..

  • Ensure processes are followed and initiate performance improvements within trouble areas.

  • Represent food and nutrition department where assigned

  • Guide clinical team in patient satisfaction

  • Completion of clincial audits for completion of nutrition assessments and follow ups on patients, in accordance with facility’s policies for accuracy of nutritional goals and interventions in the medical record

  • Educate staff, nursing, and food-service employees on all aspects of meal service

  • Adhere to facility’s policies and procedures, including the confidentiality and patient’s rights policies, as outlined in the facility’s policies and procedures manual.

Requirements



  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with Commission of Dietetic Registration and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN), or Certified Dietitian Nutritionist (CDN), as required per state regulations

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food and Nutrition or related field

  • Knowledge of regulatory standards

  • Computer experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and various software

  • RD eligible considered
