A DAY IN THE LIFE
The Quality and Training Manager position supervises quality assurance and quality control for a region/program/division. This position will be responsible for coordinating, training, performing and ensuring successful implementation of all areas managed under the QMS program. The Quality and Training Manager will lead during internal and third-party audits. The following list of duties are responsibilities of the Quality and Training Manager.
Reporting
Participate and be engaged in the safety culture
Accurately and timely prepare LDAR Reports
Participate in personal and peer review of LDAR Reports and communicate all deficiencies and improvements
Perform various clerical work where needed (printing, scanning, filing, mailing)
Email/communicate questions, comments, and changes and work completed with Project Manager and follow up on all pending questions
Communicate regularly with stakeholders (field staff, regulators, clients, etc.) to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner
Prepare reports and documents as requested by Management and clients
Documents and maintains database of client reporting requirements
Designs new reports as needed
Provides training to reporting personnel
Internal and Third-Party Auditing
Participate in daily safety tailgate meetings
Conduct qa/qc assessments as outlined in the MAQS LDAR Quality Assessment Schedule
Complete comprehensive Job Safety Analysis at the jobsite and review peer JSA's
Wear all required PPE
Assess quality of all inspection equipment
Assess efficiency of monitoring routes
Perform quality audit on all documentation of calibrations/calibration-precision/response time tests/drift checks of monitoring instrument
Assess compliance of all required rules and regulations
Assess compliance of all required quality programs written in site and regional quality plans
Assess compliance of monitoring data
Assess compliance of repair deadlines
Assess compliance of LDAR inventory
Assess compliance of leak tags
Assess compliance with inventory tags
Assess compliance with Management of Change
Assess compliance of applicability
Prepare and provide updates and reports to manager(s) and clients
Provide data and or reports for client per requests
QMS Duties
Report weekly to Director of Quality and Training on status of QMS program
Ensure all team members are performing required tasks efficiently, accurately and safely
Ensure effective and timely communication with all personnel and clients
Ensure document retention and organization follows LDAR QMS Manual
Develop and/or coordinates LDAR training
Participate in and lead training for career development, quality, safety and maintaining required certifications
Prepare and/or perform quality programs and plans
Perform and/or ensures completion of all required quality programs written in regional and site-specific quality plans
Daily review of LDAR data and quality assessments through online database review for compliance and quality
Monthly review and tracking of technician performance metrics with corrective actions outlined
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures
Develop and maintain forms as needed
Identify and communicate LDAR program improvements and database upgrades to improve the quality of the program
Assist in the development and database testing for upgrades
Prepare, review and send Quality reports to clients
Assist in the preparation and review with clients as required in the quality plan, KPI data regarding quality, reporting, improvements and deficiencies
Coordinate and/or review new client data for mass uploading
Assist technicians with troubleshooting
Perform any other duties assigned by client or manager(s)

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
College diploma preferred or equivalent experience
Advanced knowledge in Quality
Advanced knowledge in applicable Federal, State and Local LDAR regulations
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
5+ years of LDAR Quality Control experience preferred
3+ years of experience leading a team required
5+ LDAR experience is required
SYSTEMS
Experience with Workday is beneficial
Expert experience with LDAR database software programs is required
Expert experience with Microsoft Office Suite (word, excel) required
LICENSURES/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
Valid Driver's License is required
Transportation Worker Identification Credentials (TWIC) is beneficial
State/Region applicable Safety Council Training is beneficial
Refinery Safety Overview (RSO) training is beneficial
Man lift Certified is beneficial
First Aid and CPR Certified is beneficial
SAFETY/DRUG SCREENING
Capability to pass background checks and initial and random drug screening
Must be able to successfully pass a urine, alcohol, and hair drug test
Ability to climb stairs, ladders and work from heights
Ability to pass an OSHA Respiratory Protection Medical Evaluation, and don respiratory equipment
TRAVEL
Ability/willingness to travel locally and overnight 50-75% of the time
