The purpose of the Resource Manager is the day-to-day optimization of resources to support client projects across all of North America along with maintaining an up-to-day database of all resources as well as collecting additional qualitative information for talent review purposes. The Resource Manager will need to take a consultative approach to working with various stakeholders to make resourcing recommendations. This role will require deep understanding of the teams' capabilities when matching individual needs and capacity to client work and demand in the market. Resourcing recommendations must consider both quality of the delivery as well as cost effectiveness of the resourcing strategy. Also important is taking into account the career goals of individuals and ensuring resourcing practices are inclusive.

Making an Impact
• Design of and ongoing ownership of resourcing across North American Right Management organization to support client needs and internal projects
• Define principles for resourcing and maintain process and intellectual rigor as day-to-day needs emerge
• Maintaining strong, trusting relationships across functions
• Ultimate result of resource allocation is a key source of both client satisfaction and employee engagement as well as cost effectiveness
• Perform special projects to track metrics to measure and evaluate the effectiveness of our resourcing strategies.

Sharing Expertise
• Opportunity to define and build principles and process for centralized talent resourcing function as we prepare to scale
• Opportunity to meld process discipline with understanding of people and individual needs to drive to positive outcomes
• Develop best practices for maintaining and updating the talent databased used for resourcing
• People and process management skills - ensure client value, fairness and transparency in resourcing by maintaining regular touchpoints with delivery leaders, principals and project managers to ensure there is alignment around resourcing recommendations (Key resources in scope include: senior consultants project employees totaling about 500-600 individuals across resource pools).

Gaining Exposure
• Regular interactions and depth of relationships with Delivery Leadership Team, Advisory and project management team
• Individual touchpoints with senior consultants to understand preferences and needs
• Potential engagement across other areas of Right Management (Sales,) and MPG (cross sold projects) as appropriate

• Individual touchpoints to understand client needs with principals, sales, and project management
• Update resource requirements and capacity with new information
• Support special projects as needed
• Limited travel

Qualifications:

Required
• Experience developing and running processes, ideally related to resourcing
• Ability to manage stakeholders in a dynamic environment
• Attention to detail and process rigor, aligned to principled approach
• Strong people orientations
• High School Diploma

Nice to Have
• Experience with data collection, updates and reporting - can be xls, database or BI
• People and resource management at scale of 50+
