Production Operator, 3rd Shift, Vermont Creamery

Hiring Bonus: $2000

As a Production Operator, you will learn how to make world-class cheese by assisting with the pasteurization and cheesemaking processes. Under direction of the Creamery Supervisor and other Work Center leadership staff, the Cheesemaker is responsible for assisting in pasteurization and cheesemaking processes. Duties include but are not limited to processing the flow of milk and cream through each step of the cheesemaking process, while following company GMPs, Safety, and Quality programs.

Wage: $18.33 per hour + shift differential

Required Qualifications & Experiences:

• 18 years or older
  
  


• Basic computer skills.
  
  


• Ability to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions, and possess basic mathematical skills

• 1+ years of continuous prior experience in any industry

Physical Requirements for production positions regularly include:

• Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements
  
  


• Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment
  
  


• Working across temperature zones that may include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include work in environments where dust is present
  
  


• Shift schedules that include days, nights, and weekends, some holidays and periodic overtime
