Job Description:

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE TRAINING SUPPORT COORDINATOR LOCATED IN LUMBERTON, MS:


POSITION EXPECTATIONS:



  • Coordinate industry-leading training programs to achieve and maintain a highly skilled, technologically advanced workforce.

  • Assist in development and facilitate strategic individualized and group training programs that address specific business needs and organizational goals.

  • Assess the training needs of the organization through job analysis, career paths and consultation with Training Specialist.

  • Work with both internal employees and training vendors to schedule and deliver training.

  • Gain a deep understanding a functional use of UltiPro Learning: create courses, curriculums, exams, polls, in-class training events, and on-the-job training events.

  • Effectively communicate with team members, trainers, and management.

  • Assist with managing the training budget.

  • Keep abreast of training trends, developments, and best practices.

  • Monitor organizational needs to ensure that training is meeting business goals and improving performance.

  • Drive IFG culture, values and philosophy through all training and development activities.

  • Could support Human Resources and Safety with administrative tasks as needed.

  • Partner with the Director of Training & Development to support Idaho training initiatives with tasks including:

    • Create courses in UKG and track attendance

    • Create course surveys and compile results

    • Track annual course deliveries on master schedule

    • Promote upcoming training courses, order supplies and prepare materials

    • Research training materials and online resources



  • All other duties assigned


EDUCATION & OTHER REQUIREMENTS:



  • Minimum of five years of experience in an administrative or clerical function with (two years in a training focus-preferred).

  • Familiar with traditional and modern training processes 

  • Superb track record in facilitating and executing successful training programs.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Attention to details

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite

  • Experience with Zoom or Teams preferred


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:


Move safely, quickly, and perform duties with repetitious movement. Sit and/or stand for shift, reach with hands and arms, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull, maintain balance, bend at the waist, kneel, walk varying distances, and climb stairs.  Must be able to tolerate all weather elements, loud conditions, vibrations, and airborne particles (sawdust).
