The PII Insights and Analytics group is a strategic advisor to PII’s businesses, delivering actionable insights to inform and shape business decisions to achieve key performance goals. As part of the Insights and Analytics team, the Senior Research Analyst will be responsible for supporting, executing, and managing all aspects of primary and secondary research, including competitive intelligence, market dynamics, brand and consumer research. Under the guidance of the Director, Insights and Analytics, the Senior Research Analyst will translate a research brief into a project plan with corresponding research steps and timelines. They will map out the project plans with key deliverables and timelines, in-line with quality standards.

Specific responsibilities:
• Primary and Secondary Research Program Execution: Lead, own, and execute on key research deliverables including analyzing secondary / public resources for market trends, consumer sentiment, competitive intelligence, designing questionnaires, and samples, analyzing and reporting insights. Represent the team in meetings with business partners and present to stakeholders, as needed.
• Social Media Monitoring: Under the guidance of the Director, use social media monitoring tools to understand consumer, customer and agent sentiment for all PII markets, and respective competitors. Develop and deliver social media insights to key stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Under the guidance of the Director, work cross-functionally with consultants, business partners, the advanced capabilities team and other team members to ensure that deliverables meet objectives and expectations; Provide recommendations on research design and analysis plan to ensure that objectives are met. Represent the team in meetings with business partners and present to internal audiences, as needed.
• Process Excellence: Support the work to drive efficiency in research execution by helping identify and apply best practices; Develop and apply new processes, standards and templates to ensure consistency in the quality and turnaround time.
Qualifications
• 5 years of relevant market research or consulting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience in executing research projects end-to-end, including creating research briefs, designing research instruments (questionnaires, interview guides), conducting data analysis and writing research reports.
• Good understanding of the primary research process. Analytical mind with the ability to design and identify insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
• Experience with a broad array of research, both quantitative and qualitative research techniques and application. Research project experience in brand, advertising & positioning studies, awareness & usage, new product and service development, competitive intelligence and industry trends
• Experience with different market research tools and platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, Q, SPSS, etc.) is preferred.
• Leadership initiative and strong interpersonal skills
• Personal accountability and strong work ethic.
• Excellent at multi-tasking and working under tight deadlines.
• Bilingual language skills a plus; Spanish or Portuguese preferred

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $66,300.00 to $98,700.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
