Job Description:


Supervises and directs the design, development, installation, implementation, research for, and maintenance of internal network infrastructure to include data processing computer systems, collaboration tools (e.g. email, SharePoint, etc.), voice & data networks, data storage, and system/data backups. Leads research into internal and external customers’ needs, and ensures integrity of equipment and software. Provides solutions to equipment and software problems by means of automated systems, and develop customized solutions to customer/user problems. Ensures analysis of new hardware to determine its need or application in the existing or proposed system; advises on new techniques and validates estimated costs associated with new or revised programs and utilities.


 


In this rewarding role, you will:


• Collaborate with customers to understand and capture business requirements and translate them to technical specifications; develop project plans, assign work tasks, procure resources, monitor progress, and provide status reports to ensure timely completion of objectives


• Ensures operational stability and performance of infrastructure to meet defined SLAs through development of policies, process, procedures, and operational/technical standardization; endurance of hardware/software compatibility; and modification of user requirements in terms of existing and projected computer capacity and capabilities.


• Direct agile scrum sprint planning to provide feedback on priorities and work closely with scrum master and product owners on delivery of the outlined user stories and points to ensure predictable sprints


• Develop, maintain, and administer network operational and administrative procedures and standards to meet or exceed defined Service Level Agreements (SLA)


• Ensure network infrastructure compliance with regulatory requirements related to SOX, HIPAA, NIST 800-53, PII and other QTC/LMCO audits


• Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.


• Other projects and duties as assigned


 


Ideally, you will have: 


• Demonstrated leadership skills 


• Possess advance-level knowledge of a wide breadth of network infrastructure technologies to include, but not limited to Active Directory, Exchange, firewalls, LAN/WAN/WLAN, network security, data storage, backup infrastructure, Citrix/terminal services, datacenter management, and virtual infrastructure


• Intermediate communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written


• Possess strong project management skills, with attention to detail


• Persuasive negotiation skills


• BA/BS in a related field or equivalent experience


• 4 years of relevant supervisory experience  


• 5 years of experience with IT network infrastructure as an individual contributor


• ITIL v3 Foundation Certification preferred


• Knowledge of Agile Scrum preferred


• Advance Technical Certifications strongly preferred (e.g. CCNP, MCSE, CCISP)


• Must be able to successfully pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation
