Uses design to visual representations of concepts and design of the intended user interface.
Validates visual designs adhere to corporate standards and the enterprise design language.
Validates visual design and prototypes adhere to business and functional requirements.
Analysis
Provides project estimates for simple to complex projects. Complex projects may include multiple business lines, technologies, and infrastructures, and will be more than $100,000 in budget.
Ensures that user interface design requirements are executed.
Works with Business and Product representatives to articulate business objectives and refine designs as they evolve to reflect their feedback.
Relationships
Maintains and manages peer relationships between IT, Business, & Operations of various levels e.g., Supervisory/Management, ELT, Colleagues, & Teammates
Partners with development teams to ensure technical feasibility of user experience requirements.
Partners with Product Owners to deliver exceptional user experiences on behalf of the Business partners.
Understanding of basic and complex software security concepts.
Understanding of Technology Standards and concepts.
Experience with graphic design tools.
Experience with atomic design principles or formalized digital design language.
Experience in usability techniques, issues, and guidance.
Experience with user centered design and development methodologies.
Understanding of interaction design and methodology.
Understanding of Internet banking and financial transaction based websites and applications.
Understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
Ability to use qualitative and quantitative data to steer design decisions
Ability to generate use cases, task flows, screen, and interaction design.
Understanding of Agile Software Development methodology (basic framework, phases, artifacts, process, and project funding)
Excellent oral and written communication skills
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of an Associate or Bachelor Degree in Design, Computer Technology/Science, or a related field and 4-7 years experience in user experience, interaction design, web or application design and development
