Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for identifying staffing requirements to attract, source and recruit top talent, both internally and externally, and create and maintain talent pipelines. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will collaborate with management across multiple locations, to fill positions in a timely manner and maintain recruiting metrics.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:


  • Finds & engage passive candidates through social media, networking, online databases, job boards, and professional associations and other sources.

  • Manages all stages of the recruitment process. Works with leadership to understand the hiring needs of the organization. Creates exciting and useful recruiting tactics to attract top-performing employees. Drafts and creates job descriptions as needed. Collaborates with hiring managers to understand team needs and facilitates candidate lifecycle processes.

  • Drives the search process by keeping track of the candidate pipeline and the interviewing processes. Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruiting process.

  • Builds strong talent pipelines for all positions in advance of need.

  • Sources diverse talent pools and keeping up to date with new sourcing techniques.

  • Proactively keeps hiring managers and the HR Director informed of all recruiting activity.

  • Provides expertise on the employment market, trends and innovative recruiting techniques to ensure competitiveness in hiring.

  • Manages stakeholders and expectations while working in a metrics-driven environment

  • Reviews job descriptions and requirements to ensure accuracy of information posted for sourcing.

  • Serves as the point of contact between hiring managers across multiple locations and create recruiting strategies that meet the individual needs of each property.


  • Schedules and coordinates phone and in person interviews.

  • Ensures open positions are filled in a timely manner.

  • Ensures candidate engagement during the recruitment process and answers candidate inquiries.

  • Works with appropriate personnel to handle coordination of background checks, employment/reference verifications and other pre-employment screens as necessary.

  • Ensures follow through on all resumes and applications received for positions to ensure that proper correspondence is sent to applicants and maintains the resume and application database.

  • Responsible for accurate record keeping and maintenance of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

  • Works with HR Director to develop recruiting strategy based upon forecast and company goals.

  • Ensures compliance with all legal aspects of recruiting and candidate selection. Acts in compliance with federal, state and local equal employment opportunity statutes, rules and regulations.

  • Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.

RELATIONSHIP WITH OTHERS:

Has contact with on-site management. Participates fully in staff meetings and designated company training programs.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:


  • A minimum or 3 - 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience.

  • High school diploma or GED. Bachelors degree preferred.

  • Multi-family industry experience strongly preferred.

  • Knowledge of sourcing techniques using social media and experience using LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook to identify and engage talent.

  • Experience with technology tools and digital platforms including Applicant Tracking System (ATS), social media (drive marketing campaigns), and video interviewing.

  • Demonstrated track record in the full lifecycle employment process.

  • Detail oriented with excellent analytical and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships and is motivated by the drive to scout talent and fill positions with top talent in a timely manner.

  • Utmost discretion and protection of confidential information.

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Word, and Excel (pivot tables, v-lookup, & charts).

  • Resourceful self-starter with ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks with competing deadlines.

Salary: $54,000.00
