UESI is currently searching for a Junior Estimator to work with or staff in our Fort Pierce, FL office. You will perform a wide variety of administrative and clerical functions to support the Estimating department while learning the essential tasks necessary to become a successful Estimator. Tasks include processing paperwork, maintaining files, managing bid schedules, and distributing information to team members.

Responsibilities:

Handle all incoming estimating calls and emails
Receive and distribute plans and pertinent information for bids
Contact vendors/sub-contractors for quotes and qualifications
Maintain the Company lists of qualified vendors/subcontractors
Answer questions regarding the bid process and basic project queries
Maintain the company estimate log and track bid status'
Maintain, update, and distribute the bid list, packages, addenda, and documentation to ensure a complete, accurate, and a timely bid process
Prepare the necessary bid or proposal documents for timely submission
Maintain a record of all jobs we are bidding in the appropriate folders on the server

Qualifications:

Office experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite 365
Associate's degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering , Construction Management, or Business Administration is preferred. (Relevant professional experience also considered)
