Police Officer enforces laws, ordinances, regulations, and policies. Investigates and documents crimes. Serves arrest and search warrants. Enforces laws and investigates traffic collisions. Responds to emergencies. Patrols university property and works at special events. Collects, preserves, and prepares evidence in court. Testifies in court. Serve as a Campus Security Authority (CSA) by fulfilling training and reporting obligations related to campus safety protocols. Performs noncriminal routine law enforcement functions such as traffic control, parking enforcement, and building security. May serve as an armed courier transporting cash, negotiable instruments and other items, materials and documents to and from various financial institutions and campus offices.
