AMERGINT is seeking software engineers who are passionate about working closely with customers to solve difficult mission-critical challenges. In this important role, you will be working on SOFTLINK®—our foundational software architecture and the cornerstone of our dynamic solutions. Core Responsibilities



  • Enhance SOFTLINK® (our foundational software architecture) with an eye on scaling the architecture well into the future

  • Design, scope, and implement technical solutions that scale across AMERGINT products and customer sets

  • Communicate and collaborate across the engineering team and product owners

  • Evaluate and recommend solutions and guide team decision-making

  • Help to define and prioritize projects that help us meet business objectives

  • Provide compassionate technical leadership, mentorship, pairing opportunities, and code reviews to encourage the growth of others

  • Continuously improve, adapt, and grow


Required Skills



  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, with at least 4 years of work related experience

  • Proficient with multiple languages and development tools especially C/C++ and Python

  • Proficient in C++ 14

  • Proficient in writing multithreaded C++ programs

  • Demonstrated proficiency with networking protocols

  • 4 years of experience with LINUX

  • Passionate about fostering good engineering practices and processes.

  • Willingness to learn new technology and approaches.

  • Solid understanding of testing principles and high-quality software.

  • Demonstrated design skills for large scale, high speed and highly available distributed systems

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills with an eye for detail and thoroughness

  • Experience with SVN or other version control tools such as GIT

  • May need to obtain and maintain a security clearance for this position


Preferred Skills



  • Experience with telemetry processing
