JOB Summary 

The Senior Contracts and Licensing Consultant position is a data-driven project lead role that serves as Subject Matter Expert for systems process automation and manage testing. This position will be responsible for building a compliance program and managing relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors. The Senior Consultant will also research regulatory issues, process appointment requests, and complete ad hoc requests as related to contracts, licensing, and terminations.

Responsibilities 


  • Lead & manage projects by providing system support, documentation, and handling user acceptance testing.

  • Analyze data and make recommendations.

  • Lead changes for systems and/or processes.

  • Create and maintain processes aligned with state regulations that ensure compliance.

  • Support State appointment verification and processing for new and existing producers

  • Process contract and license requirements; resident and non-resident requirements, license renewals, license matrixes and appointment terminations

  • Responsible for invoices and payments for state DOIs

  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure service and coordinate changes as needed.

  • Provide excellent day-to-day customer service to agents, brokers, and Sales management

  • High transaction processing output with focus on providing a positive customer experience; balancing efficiency, timeliness, and quality

  • Develop and maintain a broad understanding of our products, producer licensing, appointment requirements and technology.

  • Lead the effective resolution of customer needs, follow-up and workflow through collaboration with other team members and departments.

  • Serve as a liaison to business partners and the sales organization.

Skills


  • The ideal candidate should have 3-5+ years of Customer Service and Compliance experience

  • Strong computer skills and technical aptitude with proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment with attention to detail

Education and Experience 


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent years of related experience

  • Insurance experience

  • Prior management or team lead experience

  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus
