Summary

The Senior Software Engineering Senior Manager will be accountable for leading new initiatives to deliver direct to consumer product offerings and associated technology enabled services as well as manage a team of Software Engineers. This individual will be expected to contribute to the strategic direction for multiple direct to consumer products and technology-enabled services through interaction with Product Management, Business Leadership and Operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and management of teams responsible for commercial software development and the introduction of new technologies
  
  


• Partner with the business units and customers
  
  


• Experience leading development using modern software engineering and product development tools including Agile/SAFE, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, etc.
  
  


• Demonstrate leadership in the context of software engineering and be an evangelist for engineering best practices
  
  


• Create next generation commercial applications and web products to grow the top line revenue
  
  


• Stay abreast of leading-edge technologies in the industry
  
  


• Work collaboratively with all business areas to assess unmet/new business needs and solutions
  
  


• Encourage the growth of direct and indirect reports through skills development, objectives and goal setting
  
  


• Holds direct reports accountable for meeting performance standards and departmental performance goals; mentors staff; measures staff performance and completes regular performance reviews
  
  

Qualifications

• 5+ years' of software product development experience working on commercially available software and / or Healthcare platforms
  
  


• 3+ years' of management experience, delivering successful innovate software products
  
  


• Demonstrated experience in building high performing teams including the hiring and developing of great people
  
  


• Ability to establish repeatable processes, best practices and implement version control software in a team environment
  
  


• Proven and accomplished individual with excellent leadership and strategic management skills
  
  


• Excellent collaboration skills and techniques to create innovative market leading solutions
  
  


• Excellent time management, communication, decision making, and presentation
  
  


• Experience working with vendors in system selection, cost negotiation, and the development of service level agreements
  
  


• Display a strong desire to achieve and attain high levels of both internal and external customer satisfactions

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 132,800 - 221,400 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
