Responsible for proactively managing corporate assets and non-technology investments throughout their lifecycles to improve productivity, maintain compliance and reduce costs for all technology assets. Large focus on hardware asset management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for hardware asset processes related to full lifecycle management including: receiving, tagging, scanning/tracking, reconciliation and disposal.
Researches and recommends ‘how’ and ‘when’ to dispose of assets.
Maintains asset control and inventory management process to track accountability, identification, location, maintenance, and life cycle status.
REQUIREMENTS
Associates degree in Computer Science or related technical area with a minimum of two (2) years of experience in Information Technology, or relevant, equivalent experience and/or education.
Knowledge of information technology and IT products and services including general electronic office equipment (printers, copiers, phones, etc)
Possesses a strong work ethic, coupled with a sense of responsibility and a "do what it takes to get the job done" attitude
Experience with Windows Client Operating System
Experience with Office Products
Possesses excellent organization skills, strong customer services skills and the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
Possesses ability to provide consistent, excellent customer support to entire staff, representing a variety of personalities and leadership levels
