In response to this trend and feedback from our clients, we are growing our team of corporate governance professionals who will provide Computershare clients with a broad range of governance advisory and managed services to expand on and complement our existing Computershare Governance Services (CGS) technology solutions. A role you will love Reporting to the Global User Education Manager, the User Education Specialist (UES) will have two main functions:
To provide training, both remotely and onsite, to CGS' client base across the NA region
To manage and maintain documentation, release notes and videos for CGS' global suite of applications
Further to above, the UES will have an active role in internally publicizing new developments and features throughout the business and supporting training and knowledge-share initiatives. To achieve this, they will need to quickly develop a sophisticated understanding of CGS' products and processes and build relationships with key internal stakeholders.
Primary Accountabilities
Producing high-quality videos, tutorials and guides for internal and client distribution
Innovation in alternative content delivery methods and ways to improve our client on-boarding methods using modern delivery techniques.
Spec and deliver training for clients throughout the NA region, either onsite or by remote desktop sharing
Writing and publishing release notes for all CGS' applications, based on product development timetables
Champion the GEMS Certification Program within NA, and ensuring regional differences are taken into account
Develop an effective relationship network with clients and service providers, as well as with colleagues worldwide
Constantly look to improve the efficiency of internal processes and improve the quality of reporting on key metrics
Occasional User Acceptance Testing
What will you bring to the role? To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Required:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience of the governance and / or entity management sectors
Foreign languages skills - Spanish and German (preferred)
Outstanding planning and scheduling skills
A solid and confident communicator, comfortable delivering with equal competence to new students, seasoned professionals and boards of directors
The ability to learn new processes and concepts quickly
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Well-presented and polished demeanor
This position will require travel 15% of the time, based on business needs.
