Prudential is seeking a highly motivated, resourceful, and skilled individual for the role of Manager, Planning and Analysis within the Global Technology Finance Organization.

Prudential’s Global Technology (GT) Organization is on a multi-year, multi-phase journey to modernize our technology, which will empower Prudential’s stakeholders with tech-forward and data-enabled experiences that deliver meaningful, differentiated outcomes. In support of that journey, we are seeking a Finance Manager who will report to the Director, Planning and Analysis. This is a leadership position that supports the Asset Management and Financial Management Technology Organization.

Global Technology Finance is responsible for centralized planning & analysis of all technology expenditures of the Enterprise, both domestic and abroad, and includes forecasting, budgeting, financial analysis, and management reporting.

The successful candidate will be part of a team of finance professionals that provide meaningful, insightful, and actionable analytics on investments in technology on behalf of the Enterprise. This role focuses on the development of a multi-year forecast projection of operational, strategic, and new way of working (NWoW) technology investments for the businesses, the reporting of technology spending outcomes against business plans, and articulation of opportunities, risks, and challenges to business plans. This role will be a key partner to supporting the Global Technology business leaders to drive strategic decision making.

Key responsibilities will include the following:
• Lead in the development of the multi-year budget/forecast.
• Support the monthly financial reporting process, including identification of key trends
• Develop and articulate an in-depth understanding of expense drivers and key performance indicators
• Develop clear and concise management presentations to ensure key messages are captured and action steps are well defined to enable swift decision-making.
• Complete and prioritize significant ad hoc requests from various corporate and business partners
• Strategically partner with colleagues and business partners to drive a consistent methodology and approach to business financial plans and

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis, financial reporting, expense management, or related experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Agile and organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple demands
• Ability to understand business fundamentals and business strategy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong ability to develop insightful presentations
• Ability to work across teams and collaborate with others to drive execution
• Ability to identify opportunities to better leverage existing and emerging technologies to complete tasks more efficiently and effectively
• Proven ability to analyze data and the underlying drivers of financial results
• Advanced excel knowledge
• Sense of urgency – Priorities may require quick turn-around for senior preview and presentations

Overtime may be required during peak periods

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $108,000.00 to $160,700.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
