Job Description:

OVERVIEW

Monday through Friday – NO WEEKENDS

2nd Shift

Pay starting at $26.50/hour, based on experience/certifications

Set schedule for raises

Benefits 1st of the month after 30 days – medical, dental, vision, FSA, and more!

Personal and sick pay after 90 days

Vacation pay after 6 months

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Repair and maintain shop equipment


• Repair building electrical, lighting systems, plumbing systems and fire protection systems


• Repair and maintain of dock boards


• Responsible for compliance with all established safety policies both general and maintenance specific


• Repair overhead doors, pumps, filters and control valves


• Repair trash compactors, bailer, conveyer, and hydraulic systems


• Work all storm emergencies, power outages and snow storms if needed


• Ensure that all work performed is properly documented and accurately recorded

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent


• Must be able to work 6 feet or higher off the ground


• Previous experience doing maintenance and repair pertaining to material handling equipment


• Experience in the repair of commercial building systems and conveyors


• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and sprinkler systems


• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics


• Must be able to properly use a digital volt/ohm multi-meter


• Must have your own hand tools (large and special purpose tools are available in the shop)
