The HR Survey Analyst monitors and assesses the organizational culture and the impact strategic initiatives place on the associate satisfaction and overall workplace. This is achieved through the collection and analysis of opinion-based surveys, fact-based assessments, and other studies of associate behavior (e.g. turnover, satisfaction drivers) as well as the research of industry standards. Additionally, you will identify and apply the most appropriate survey and research methodologies to design, manage, and analyze quantitative and qualitative associate survey and assessment data.

 

In Publix's corporate offices, we value in-person interactions, similar to those our store associates have with customers. Many of Publix's corporate offices offer work from home up to two days a week. Each business area implements their policy differently and should be discussed during interviews.

What you’ll do:

 


  • develop and implement analytical solutions that address business strategy, scorecard initiatives, and organizational culture opportunities faced by decision makers and translating those outputs into actionable insights and recommendations

  • present key findings and recommendations for improvements through presentations, strategy review meetings, or round-table discussions with key stakeholders

  • research associate trends and industry standards to better understand how the organization’s culture compares to similar organizations, competitors, and current workplace trends


  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Marketing Research, Behavior or Social Sciences, or other analytical discipline

  • at least two years of experience analyzing data using statistical software

  • ability to influence key leaders in a diplomatic and professional manner

  • skilled in engaging and negotiating with internal customer 

  • extensive working knowledge of analytical and statistical methods (such as regression, correlation, ANOVA, t-tests, structural equational modeling, cluster analysis, Crobach alpha, factor analysis, etc.)

  • extensive analytical and critical skills

  • working knowledge of different research data collection methods, surveying techniques and methodology

  • skilled in summarizing large amounts of information and writing concise research reports

  • organizational and independent prioritization skills

  • detail-oriented with an uncompromising desire for accuracy in reporting

  • proficient project management skills

  • excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • high degree of professionalism, tact, diplomacy in dealing with management, and executive leadership

  • ability to work independently with little supervision and receive a high level of delegation

  • basic knowledge of statistical software

  • basic knowledge of datasets

  • basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • ability to life up to 25 pounds

  • willingness to travel occasionally


  • Master’s in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Marketing Research, Behavioral or Social Sciences, or analytical discipline

  • four or more years of experience analyzing data using statistical software

  • intermediate knowledge of statistical software

  • intermediate knowledge of datasets

  • intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • basic knowledge of Microsoft Access

  • proficient in analyzing empirical associate and company data

  • working knowledge in Human Resources

  • SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or other HR certifications
