Manager Global Supplier Quality
The following position is open in Clermont Kentucky, United States.

Support high product quality standards through the management of Supplier Quality as part of the integrated quality and food safety system. Lead all aspects of supplier, material, and ingredient quality from qualification of new suppliers to focused improvement plans for purchased materials. Create an environment of collaborative team spirit within Supply Chain, Global Quality and support cross functional business partners within Procurement and R&D through timely and effective communication and inclusive workflows to meet business quality needs.
Role Responsibilities
Build, improve and manage Supplier Quality system components to drive performance related improvements. Work as a cross-functional leader within the organization to deliver strategic and systemic Supplier Quality initiatives.
Improve and manage supplier qualification processes to assure adherence to Quality and Food safety standards. Represent manufacturing Quality in supplier/partner decisions in Supplier Relationship Management Program.
Perform lead auditor function for certification and surveillance audits for tier 1 partner suppliers. Oversee regional/local results and actions from audits of lower tier suppliers. Maintain overall responsibility for supplier adherence to quality/food safety standards and completion of required corrective actions.
Develop, implement and manage the Supplier Audit program.
Support manufacturing units by leading and participating in supplier/material improvement initiatives which support overall product/system quality.
Support Supply Chain and Procurement partners by ensuring adherence to supplier/material quality standards during design-to-value, innovation and network optimization initiatives.
Identify quality performance improvement initiatives related to ingredients and materials and lead implementation.
Assist with internal and co-manufacturing food safety/quality audits as needed: ISO Standards, BRC, HACCP, and Beam Suntory global standards.
Manage Supplier Quality monitoring - including defining testing requirements, results and performance data trending to support key Performance Indicators
Lead/support Major Incident Management process/activities related to a Supplier or Material Quality issue.
Qualifications & Experience
5+ years leadership experience in a manufacturing quality setting. Food industry, especially beverage alcohol is a plus.
Experience as a lead auditor who is a qualified / certified Auditor with experience in ISO 9001, ISO 2200, GFSI standards.
Demonstrated ability to audit and improve ISO 9001, ISO 22000, and other quality/food safety management systems. Implementation and system building experience a plus.

Strong communication and organizational skills.
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field
Post-graduate degree (related Science or MBA) is a plus
External certification such as ASQ Certified Quality Manager is a plus
