Application Support Analyst I Supply Chain (Customer Service, Purchasing & Planning)
Individual who possess excellent customer service, purchasing and/or planning functional skills and ability to understand the business processes and map them into an ERP system. Acts as a liaison with cross-functional business teams and work with all levels of management to improve knowledge base, map requirements, design, develop, train and deploy common Business Process solutions within Project Scope and timelines.
Major Responsibilities
Provide end user support. Resolve day to day user reported issues, Investigate and provide resolution to resolve bugs in the process at root cause level
Develop Knowledge Base Articles & Work Instructions/User Guides
Conduct user training sessions and to train users
Work with business users/cross functional teams/developers/testers to design, develop and test new solutions
Work pro-actively to improve current processes and to drive down the user support issues
Work with project implementation team during implementation as needed
Knowledge sharing with peers & training team members to strengthen Support Team
Writing Test cases to test the new and existing solutions and standard software patches
Travel domestically and/or internationally as needed
Perform other duties as assigned by the reporting manager
Knowledge and Skills
Strong knowledge of functional area and how it relates to manufacturing, warehousing, distribution and finance functionality in an ERP system.
Trouble shooting experience in an ERP system for pricing, customer service, purchasing and/or planning
Candidate should have strong analytical and problem solving skills to identify and fix the problems in standard and customized environments
Candidate should able to work with business users to collect and document the business requirements, develop product specification based on business requirements, work with developers and/or testers to get the solution developed and tested and to develop the training guides/work instructions and to train end users
Requires good coordination & collaborative skills to effectively work within IT and cross-functional teams throughout the business
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Demonstrate customer service skills and mindset

Organized and efficient in completing task with a sense of urgency
Education
BS Degree Computer Science, business or equivalent education. High School diploma or equivalent with 3+ years of relevant system experience.
Required Experience
3+ years’ experience in software implementation and/or functional finance role utilizing modern ERP system.
