Job Overview: We are seeking a Labor Analyst to join our team at any of our regional offices (Tonawanda, NY, Burr Ridge IL, The Woodlands, TX or Phoenix, AZ) . The Labor Analyst will partner with the Labor Relations Managers and local Business Agents on union issue resolutions. This person will also be respobnsible for modeling of wages, Health & Welfare, and pension plans for collective bargaining agreements. Primary Responsibilities: - Maintains a high degree of confidentiality and integrity - Conducts modeling of wages, Health & Welfare, and pension plans for 60 CBAs - May partner with the Labor Relations Managers and local Business Agents on union issue resolutions - May prepare/edit final version of CBAs utilizing the tentative agreements negotiated between the Company and the Union; coordinate signatures, distribute, and upload to the Labor Law Library - Determines non-bargained employee increases, based on pre-determined annual budget, and communicates to HR and Management for review - Maintains national tracking sheet for CBA expirations, terms, increases, decertification's, benefits language - Performs census and analysis on bargained employees moving from Company benefits to union benefits - Conducts pay surveys, both internal and external - Coordinate the distribution of all final CBAs to the appropriate Managers and Corporate departments; and provide or seek out answers to any interpretation questions that may arise - Conducts analysis and performs independent review, interpretations, conclusions and recommendations to support the Labor Team - Prepares and distributes reports from HRIS for Labor team, Union Representatives and internal management or for external agencies as necessary, gathering and analyzing data - Supports training and development initiatives and programs by actively participating in the training sessions, facilitating training logistics, participant tracking and content research; may lead training initiatives occasionally - Single point of contact for CBA Database; ensuring that all contracts both current and historical are accurate and accessible, interprets language as necessary - Other duties as assigned Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in HR or business-related field preferred - 2+ years Human Resources experience preferred - 2+ years of relevant experience required - Experience leading projects a plus - Experience in a union environment a plus - Technically proficient with MS Office suite - Ability to quickly learn internal HRIS systems (Kronos, SAPHRON, UltiPro, Taleo, Cognos) - Strong written & verbal communication skills are required - Ability to demonstrate experience working in fast moving, deadline driven environment - Detail orientated, analytical, organized and a self-starter - Proven ability to work under tight deadlines - Some travel required, less than 10% At Linde, we strive to create a work environment that treats all employees with respect, supports new thoughts and ideas, encourages growth and development, celebrates our differences, and embraces inclusion.
