Shipping Clerk at Ground Force

Job Description:

Ground Force Worldwide has an opening for a Shipping Clerk.  Qualified candidates will be driven, detail-oriented, and have a strong work ethic. To be successful, you must be able to multitask, prioritize, self-manage time efficiently, problem solve and be a self-starter. Experience in a shipping department is preferred. Starting Wage $17-$20/hour depending on experience.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:


  1. Manage the shipment of all products, materials, and supplies.

  2. Retrieve customer orders from BOMs and provided paperwork.

  3. Package and weigh items.

  4. Print shipping labels and bills of lading.

  5. Track, trace, and update the status of outgoing shipments.

  6. Data entry, processing, and reporting in Epicor.

  7. Maintain a productive and respectful two-way dialogue with freight drivers.

  8. Stocking shelves, inventory counts, and training on Receiving.

  9. Perform other duties, assignments and special projects as assigned.

Position Requirements 


  • Exemplary customer care skills

  • Forklift skills, certifications a plus

  • Experience with UPS WorldShip a plus

  • Experience in freight receipts and shipments encouraged

  • Highly organized

  • Safety conscious

  • Proficient with computers

  • Frequent lifting of up to 50lbs required.
