Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Inventory Control Supervisor located in Memphis, TN.  

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Inventory Control Supervisor role will manage the daily activities of the inventory control team, implement, and maintain policies and procedures related to inventory control.  Responsible for evaluating stock levels while maintaining highest degree of Inventory integrity and accuracy by implementing strategies to achieve the best results.


  • Adhere to safety and policy procedures in accordance with corporate and customer requirement for compliance.

  • Ensures accountable for maintaining high levels of customer service both internal and external (customers).

  • Monitor and lead initiatives to ensure inventory accuracy goals are met and maintained.

  • Manage inventory control personnel including Kronos, performance, training, coaching, mentoring, and developing employees to ensure goals and objective are met.

  • Ensure timely execution of scheduled cycle counts activities in accordance with corporate accounting and or customer requirement.

  • Ensure compliance with SOX requirement on separation of duties and access control.

  • Lead and or assist in development and implementation of best practices and procedures surrounding warehouse and operation to improve Inventory management.

  • Conduct analysis of inventory discrepancies and collaborate with operations to mitigate recurrence of issues.

  • Analyzes and reports inventory discrepancies while offering solution for improvement.

  • Work in conjunction with various departments and maintain flexible attitude in achieving organizational goals.

  • Responsible on investigating internal or customer complaints regarding inventory related issues.

  • Responsible in managing damaged, excess, and obsolete inventory and its disposition, reuse, rework, return to vendor or scrap and inventory shrinkage.

  • Responsible for generating, publishing, and maintaining Inventory metrics and KPI for both internal and external (customers).


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or related field plus (2) years’ experience or (5) years’ experience in Inventory Control Management in manufacturing or warehouse environment.

  • Previous experience in Inventory and cycle counting.

  • Strong analytical, mathematics and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient with Microsoft office (Excel and PowerPoint).

  • Proven ability to analyze, manipulate, and interpret data and build reports and charts.

  • Hands on experience working with MRP and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Baan, Atlas, Kinaxis Rapid Response, Red Prairie…)

  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills for communicating effectively with employee, management, and customers.

  • Good organizational, time management and administrative skills.

  • Attention to detail, willingness to improve, learn and adapt in accordance with the modern practice methods.

  • Ability to supervise, manage, instruct, and lead a team.

  • Results oriented with abilities to handle multiple tasks and meet the deadlines.
