Deposit Operations Specialist at Classic Bank

Job Description:

Summary

Provides functional support to the Chief Operating Officer. May be responsible for specialized functions within the Bank (e.g. reporting, operations, process improvement, project management, system upgrades, marketing, core software, etc.). Provides operational analysis and reporting to manager. Serves as liaison between Bank departments and outside parties for resolution of issues.

Essential Functions


  • Performs operational support on behalf of Chief Operations Officer

  • Provides assistance as needed with Bank projects and administrative work

  • Performs complex research and analysis as requested

  • Presents results of support activities, and analysis to supervisor/management

  • Assist with various banking projects, for example core software, vendor management, ACH origination, remote deposit capture, e-banking, business continuity planning, marketing, bank events, etc.

  • Assists with mergers, acquisitions, remodeling, building projects, system upgrades, etc.


  • Other special projects as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities


  • Knowledge of Banking operations, policies and procedures

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with all employees.

  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities with attention to detail.

  • High motivation with ability to successfully meet team objectives while maintaining individual performance.

Education and Experience


  • High School Diploma/GED required

  • Associate or Bachelor Degree preferred

Working Conditions


  • Required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms

  • Requires corrected hearing in normal range of effective communication via telephone and alarms

  • Required to drive to different branch locations on a regular basis

  • Must be able to speak English

  • May be required to either sit or stand for long periods of time

  • May occasionally lift up to 25 pounds

  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Considerable effort and eyestrain from continued checking on the accuracy of all work.
