PRESS ASSISTANT OPERATOR
DESCRIPTION:
This is a 12-hour rotating night shift position working 7pm to 7am. The Press Assistant Operator assists the Press Operator in the operations of the air graders, forming station, and press line.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitors the continuous production of product through the air graders, forming line and press.
Monitors raw board quality
Communicates with Press Operators to maintain stable and consistent production
Identifies process variation, determines the source, and works to eliminate it
Performs press / forming line housekeeping activities
Performs basic maintenance related tasks
Assists maintenance personnel in performing technical work
Performs other related duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
Requires 1 or more years in a manufacturing environment
COMPETENCIES:
Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
Requires good listening skills
Requires good data analysis and interpretation skills
