This position can be 100% remote with a preference for candidates who are located or are willing to be located near San Dimas, CA; San Antonio, TXNashville, TN; or Malvern, PA.

 In this rewarding role, you will:



  • Oversee the implementation and management of all database architectures and platforms at QTC.

  • Perform day-to-day mentoring and management of the database administration team members.

  • Establishes and maintains relationships with Leidos partners, key vendors, and within Leidos to seek, qualify and leverage the best ideas, solutions and models to meet customer needs

  • Develop, maintain, and administer database operational and administrative procedures, to meet or exceed Service Level Agreements (SLA).

  • Ensure compliance with any regulatory requirements related to SOX, HIPAA, NIST 800-53, PII and other QTC/Leidos Audits.

  • Provide engineering and technical expertise on all issues, performance work requests, system improvement efforts, and operations and maintenance activities.


 


Ideally, you will have:



  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline w/ 10 years of DBA experience (Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree) 

  • 5 years of experience supervising or leading teams/projects

  • Experience in Database administration of Oracle Database, version 19c or higher and MS SQL MS SQL Server 2016 or higher.

  • Experience in Modeling Logical and Physical databases.

  • Experience in developing database objects including stored procedures and triggers in PL-SQL and T-SQL.

  • Experience developing Oracle Forms and Reports (6i and 9i) a plus.

  • Proficiency with SDLC processes.
