Safety Technician - Austin Industrial (T/A) at Austin Maintenance & Construction, Inc.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

1. Builds working relationships with project supervision and subcontractor safety representatives

2. Assist in creating accurate safety reports and accident investigation documents

3. Assists in staff safety training and subcontractor development; possesses strong presentation skills

4. Represents company in a positive and professional manner with the Owner and subcontractors

5. Creates and facilitates safety training on a variety of subjects that align with particular project schedules  

7. Ensures compliance with the company’s current safety manual, policies, and expectations

8. Majority of time spent in the field observing work, coaching, auditing, and engaging craft employee-owners

9. Helps project supervision resolve safety problems and issues in the field 

Requirements:


  • Five years in the maintenance & construction industry or two-year safety degree

  • Manages time and resources appropriately

Must pass drug screen, as a condition of employment.

Per diem will be paid.  No in or out pay.
