The Shift Electrician will be required to demonstrate a prominent level of honesty, integrity, ownership, enthusiasm, and the ability to be a team player.
The Shift Electrician must focus on ensuring the team's success by performing preventative and corrective maintenance on steel mill equipment and systems which include the following:
Troubleshooting and repairs
Cooperating with and supporting operations
Aggressively pursuing process improvements and innovative solutions to challenges
Assisting with documentation and training for all equipment
This position will require working in confined spaces, elevated levels, climbing ladders and stairs, all while working in hot and cold environments.
The qualified applicant must be willing to work weekends, holidays, rotating shifts, scheduled, and unscheduled overtime.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
Three years Industrial Electrical Maintenance
Fundamental Electrical Theory knowledge
Preferred Qualifications:
2-year or 4-year degree in a STEM related field
Extensive experience with A/C - D/C Motors, Drives, and PLC's
Knowledge of Mechanical Maintenance & Engineering Principles
Experience with HMI development
Experience with Power Distribution Systems
