Job Summary

Seeking a 2nd shift CNC Operator to operate multi-axis CNC mills or lathes. 2nd shift schedule is Monday through Thursday from 3:00pm to 1:30am. Jabil Lewis Engineering is a precision machining facility specializing in aerospace products, turbine engine components, rapid prototyping, and industrial pumps.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate CNC mills and lathes


• Utilize inspection equipment to check accuracy of work, in accordance with blueprint specifications


• Complete all job-related paperwork, accurately, per requirements 


• Maintain equipment and work area on a daily basis in a clean and orderly condition


• Follow prescribed work rules and standard safety regulations at all times


• Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others


• Coordinate with supervisor and other team members to meet production schedule demands


• Maintain a clean and safe working environment


• Perform other related duties as assigned

JOB QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to lift and load parts into machinery (capable of lifting 50 lbs.)


• Good communication skills (verbal and written)


• Familiarity with CNC operation


• Manual machining experience a plus


• Able to read job instructions and blueprints


• Intermediate Shop math skills


• Strong attention to detail

 Education & Experience Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent


• Secondary School, Technical Certificate, or Degree preferred


• Basic computer and data entry skills

The anticipated hourly pay range for this role is $17.00 to 20.00.
