We are currently seeking a Senior Supply Chain Analyst for the Connecticut Scheduling HUB. This will be 100% onsite with occasional opportunities to work remotely.

A Day in the Life
In this role, you will work to execute supply chain solutions which support business objectives, including supply planning, inventory management and project management. You will deliver on process improvement opportunities throughout each stage of the product lifecycle and each stage of product procurement, manufacturing, and distribution. Partnering with cross functional teams you will develop, implement, and maintain tools that provide insights and understanding to leaders, simplify processes and improve execution. This role will contribute to improving Medtronic's inventory turns by implementing process improvements and delivering insights to leaders on trade-offs.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Create integrated processes among internal functions (e.g., operations, planning, purchasing, and logistics) and outside suppliers
Plan and analyze activities related to the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of product
Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and material control systems to reduce costs, streamline procedures, and implement solutions
Develop, implement, and maintain tools, analytics, and reporting that provides insights and understanding to leaders, simplifies processes, and improves execution such as visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI desktop, Visual Basic, and SQL
Connecting data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business intelligence.
Analytical thinking for translating data into informative reports and visuals
Responsible for design methodology and project documentaries
Partner with the manufacturing plants, planning teams, commercial and regional partners to develop inventory projections and take proactive actions to minimize excess inventory
Work cross functionally on project teams and develop relationships with manufacturing, marketing, R&D, planning, finance, engineering, and customer service
Lead projects including optimization of production planning, contract manufacturing, raw material planning, and prebuild planning, balancing global inventory networks, improving global service levels, and improving manufacturing/supply chain efficiency
Understand Lean Sigma DMAIC methodology and utilize lean principles and problem-solving methodology to drive continuous improvement in processes leading to service/inventory improvement
Act as a Change Agent by identifying and solving problems and improving processes.
Identify and participate in the resolution of issues by employing strong analytical and planning skills
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree required
Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience
Nice to Have
5 years of experience in supply chain planning and/or inventory, capacity, or operations planning. Or an advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain planning and/or inventory, capacity, or operations planning
Proficiency using SAP/APO, or other ERP systems
Experience developing analytical tools in platforms such as Power BI, Visual Basic, Oracle, SQL, R, Python, or Tableau
Demonstrated ability to use analytical tools to deliver insights to decision makers and simplify work processes
Proficiency with MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint focus)
Influence management skills and ability to successfully work across geographical boundaries via phone and virtual meetings
Understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards related End to End Supply Chain concepts
Training such as APICS (CPIM/CSCP) certification or Lean, Six Sigma, and DMAIC Certifications
Education such as a MBA, or a Master's Degree
Strong mathematics/analytics/statistical skills demonstrated through education or professional background
Demonstrated project management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Medical device or related industry experience
Ability to thrive in a complex, matrix and growing organization
Ability to assess, analyze, and condense complex data or situations.
Ability to project possible future outcomes and scenarios based on available data. Shapes recommendations to create positive future results despite circumstances or activities that may threaten desired goals
Ability to adapt to changing customer and organizational requirements
Experience cultivating a broad network of relationships with key internal and external constituents.
