The Materials Manager will oversee plant level activities within Receiving, Shipping, Inventory, Yard, and Parts, including local purchasing, in accordance with company needs and customer requirements. This is a local position but may require up to 10% travel to effectively carry out the responsibilities of the role.
This individual will routinely report to the local Plant Manager on inventory levels and ongoing efforts to improve performance.
This position will be based in Solomon, KS

Roles and Responsibilities

Supervise parts room, receiving, shipping, and local purchasing
Supervise ALL material handling in yard and factory
Execution to receiving and storage standards
Execution to min/max requirements
Yard Layout and 5S per lean principles
Mobile equipment maintenance and replenishment
Match units to orders
Local lead for inventory count processes
