The Hard Craft Foreman provides leadership and is responsible for supervising workers and work crews under his or her charge, ensuring the safety of crew members, following OHSA guidelines and Austin Industrial safety rules and the overall productivity of crew members.
As a key participant in the relationship between Austin Industrial and the client, the general foreman functions largely as a coordinating manager and client interface.
Key Responsibilities:
Safety - The site foreman must provide leadership that results in a safe work culture, is responsible and accountable for the safety of the crew under his/her direction, and must understand and accept the importance and legal liability of the role.
This includes:
Leadership and Supervision - The site foreman coordinates the crew, and must understand and consistently apply the general foreman’s policies. The site foreman is required to be involved and supportive of any day to day disciplinary decisions.

Qualifications Required for this Position:
Education – no minimum education requirements.
Experience – 3-5 years of Journeyman level experience.
Per diem paid for days worked. No in or out pay.
Must pass drug screen.
