The intent is to accelerate growth and drive engagement with financial advisors across all channels. We develop recommendations on strategic data, campaign initiatives and business cases to support them. Our team delivers these insights to our business partners through rich and intuitive dashboards and reports. Ultimately, we strive to foster a data-driven culture where analytics are the driver behind all business initiatives.

Responsibilities:


  • Visualizing and developing BI solutions (Dashboards, Scorecards, Analytic reports) to show opportunities for revenue growth based on sales, advisor, customer, and industry data

  • Writing business requirements, redesigning applications\processes, creating mockups, and analyzing data to support strategic and operational initiatives

  • Interacting with product owners/clients, other business analysts and members of agile teams to deliver on BI Solutions

  • Identifying and gathering relevant and quality data sources to address problems and recommend strategy through exploratory data analysis (EDA)

  • Integrating and transforming disparate data sources and determining the appropriate data needs to solve strategic goals

  • Partnering closely with wholesalers to gain a better understanding of their business needs and improve their sales effectiveness

  • Liaison with Sales Distribution organization to deliver data analytics that transform how the organization uses data, drive adoption and focus efforts to increase sales effectiveness

Qualifications:


  • Accredited bachelor’s degree.  Preferred majors include Management Information Systems (MIS), Business Analytics and Information Technology (BAIT), Business, and Computer Science.

  • 5+ Years of Financial Services Industry Experience preferred

  • 3+ Years of Tableau (certification is a plus) or equivalent Business Intelligence / Visualization Tools

  • Experience with SQL and related tools (e.g., Oracle, Hadoop, Redshift, etc.) a plus

  • Knowledge of Agile methodology a plus. 

  • Experience with business analysis and writing business requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong project management, organization, and communication skills

  • Proficiency with PC skills (MS Office suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, OneDrive, MS Project, and Outlook, dataflow, database and reporting, project management, SQL, data processing/manipulation, data visualization)
