The Assistant Director of Nursing will oversee a full service community hospital with Acute Care Admission, Cardiology, Dietary, 24-hours Emergency Room, Skilled Nursing Care, Laboratory and Radiology.

Reporting to the Director of Nursing, the Assistant Nurse Director of ED and Med Surg will lead clinical and administrative operations in a busy department. Supported by an amazing team of nursing staff, the Assistant Director will oversee a fast-paced unit with state-of-the-art equipment and a supportive medical and support staff. 

The ED Assistant Nurse Director will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, supporting the staff's ability to meet patient needs. This will include developing and supporting educational initiatives, serving as a mentor to new leaders, and being a champion for quality improvement throughout the department. The Assistant Director will also take on administrative duties in the department, including oversight and maintenance of the budget, recruitment and retention of staff, and this person will serve as the operations liaison.
