Purpose of Job: Supports the recruiting, staffing, and onboarding needs of the division by partnering with the HR Staff and hiring managers to understand their business and staffing needs. Identifies, attracts, onboards, and retains high-performing candidates for open positions.

Job Duties:


  • Works with hiring managers to determine staffing needs, prepares job requisitions, and manages postings and advertisements for open positions using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline.

  • Reviews and prescreens applications and conducts preliminary interviews as needed to identify and present best possible candidates to the hiring manager.

  • Manages the interview and selection process, including coordinating interview schedules, participating in interviews as needed, maintaining requisition files and interview notes, coordinating job offers, and other candidate communications.

  • Provides guidance to supervisors and managers in developing job descriptions, interview skills, and the selection process.

  • Coordinates the onboarding process with the Hiring Manager, candidate(s), and Human Resources or Facility Admin. This will include coordinating and/or scheduling pre-employment screening appointments, new hire orientation sessions, organization announcements, and other onboarding activities. Supports Hiring Manager, HR, and Facility Admin in guiding new hires through the onboarding process and 60-day probationary period ensuring new hires feel welcomed and well informed.

  • Identifies and participates in community events, job fairs, or other targeted sourcing opportunities to attract candidates for key or high-turn positions. Leads employment branding initiatives.

  • Assists managers with identifying situations where short-term staffing solutions may apply (i.e., seasonal or temporary placements.) Will include coordinating with staffing agencies for temporary or seasonal placements as needed.

  • Regularly reports on staffing opportunities and progress to hiring managers, HR and facility management.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:


  • High School Diploma required.

  • Associates degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field is required.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Three to five (3-5) years’ experience in a recruiting role.

  • Working knowledge of State and Federal Employment Laws.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is a must.

  • Outlook email systems proficiency.

  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, or the ability to learn and become proficient in applicant tracking systems.

  • Ability to manage and coordinate multiple schedules.

  • Possess outstanding written and verbal communication and organizational skills, as well as exceptional attention to detail.

  • Ability to maintain focus and accuracy under pressure and time constraints and must enjoy working with people of diverse backgrounds and experience.

  • Familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenues such as social media and job boards.

  • Ability to build strong and collaborative working relationships with all levels of the organization and to effectively manage competing priorities.

  • Enjoy and thrive in a fast paced, rapidly evolving environment.

  • Ability to demonstrate and communicate enthusiasm for and loyalty to the company and the brands we serve.

  • Able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
