As an NGG Technical Lead, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Providing technical team leadership for developing and maintaining the company's strategic next generation B2B/MFT application platform using the IBM Sterling B2B Integrator application suite.
Partnering with other technical and application teams and enterprise architects to ensure application projects support and align with corporate architecture and integration strategies that are developed. Ensures resources, projects, and priorities align to the strategies developed and deliver results.
Providing input and support for the application portfolio roadmap.
Leading or participating in system administration activities, such as installation of software, patches and updates, licensing, system health and performance and capacity tuning, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Leading or participating in defining, maintaining and implementing crisis management, application support and disaster recover strategies and related architecture or infrastructure requirements.
Developing and communicating short and long-term technical solutions that provide innovative technical improvements, improve quality and operational excellence, lower cost, satisfy regulatory and compliance requirements, mitigate risk and satisfy business objectives.
Creating and maintaining technical documentation relevant to the overall application architecture.
Leading or participating in system administration activities, such as installation of software, patches and updates, licensing, performance and capacity tuning, configuration and troubleshooting, as needed.
Leading or participating in development project activities that require complex technical solutions, including writing technical specifications, coding, solution reviews and code walkthroughs, providing feedback to development resources. This will also include project management, prioritization, communication of project status, escalation of issues, quality assurance, preparation for deployment and support plans.
Developing & providing technical subject matter expertise, and assists in identifying & defining technical development standards, guidelines, strategies and best practices.

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
Five (5) years of progressive IT experience designing and developing B2B/A2A solutions and platforms in a private, public, government or military environment.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Five (5) years of experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and File Gateway, IBM Sterling Secure Proxy, IBM Sterling Control Center internals and underlying components
Expert knowledge and proficiency in B2B/MFT concepts and technologies, standards and architectures
Strong experience with industry-standard communication protocols such as AS2, SFTP, FTPS, FTP, HTTP, HTTPS, SOAP, Websphere MQ, OFTP, OFTP2
Strong knowledge of database tools, technologies, and concepts (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, Sybase, SQL)
Strong experience in Unix and Linux operating systems, scripting and related tools and technologies
Strong knowledge of IBM Sterling B2B Integrator Suite adapter and service configuration
Strong experience developing and troubleshooting of complex IBM Sterling B2B Integrator business processes and translation techniques
Experience working with System Integration Architects (SIA) Framework Manager and SIMon TV and its core processes and internal configuration
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and ability to think “outside the box”
Excellent listening, verbal and written communication, reporting and presentation skills
Strong customer interaction, organizational and time management skills
Goal driven, highly motivated with a desire to take the lead and deliver results in a fast paced, global, and cross-functional team environment
Ability to plan, manage and track multiple priorities simultaneously and with minimal direction and deliver to an established schedule using the Agile SDLC methodology and related tools
Exhibit a high degree of professionalism and integrity
Experience in leading a team of technical resources
Willingness to travel when needed
Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/international
