NOTE: While this position is hybrid remote/on-site, successful candidates must have the ability to attend on-site functions and community events

Summary

Leads Rivermark's ongoing strategy for traditional and digital communications channels, including social media. Develops relevant content in support of the Rivermark brand, culture, products and community involvement. This role will partner with departments throughout the organization to support marketing campaigns and awareness.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities


  1. Contributes to and facilitates social media strategy. Ensures consistent messaging that aligns with business goals. Develops engaging content for the various credit union social media platforms.

  2. Track social media Key Performance Indicators and maintain company social media calendar.

  3. Creates, develops and prepares copy for marketing campaigns and materials. Channels to include website, email, press releases, postcards, and print ads.

  4. Partner with internal teams and branches to identify content needs for visibility and awareness of locations, events and services.

  5. Collaborate with graphic designers to create assets that elevate the Rivermark brand and story.

  6. Coordinates, captures, obtains content in support of branch and community events and partnerships.

  7. Participate in internal communication in support of marketing campaigns and strategies.

  8. Works with the Marketing team on development of creative ideas and concepts related to individual marketing campaigns.

  9. Assists with special projects as needed and performs other marketing related duties as requested or assigned.

Requirements Skills, Job Knowledge & Abilities


  1. Excellent copywriting and editorial skills with the ability to judge and correct submitted copy, show strong attention to detail and maintain consistency across all content.

  2. Outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

  3. Strong familiarity with the business applications of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, Tik Tok, etc.).

  4. Knowledge of current digital marketing, social media, and digital communications best practices.

  5. Understanding of social media metrics; able to interpret results and take action to increase effectiveness.

  6. Strong time management with the ability to manage multiple workloads with successful results.

  7. Flexibility to deal with unexpected events, and occasionally attend meetings and events that may occur outside of regularly scheduled work hours.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position does not have direct supervisory responsibility.

Interpersonal Contacts

Continuous contact with employees. Frequent contact with members and community leaders. Occasional contact with vendors.

Travel

Frequent local travel to branches and community events.

Salary: $62,584.00
