IT Manager, Oracle Recruiting Cloud at Pike Electric, Inc.

Job Description:

Position Summary:  The IT Oracle Recruiting Cloud Manager is a technical role which manages a team of IT quality engineers that collaborates with software developers and product owners to implement, evaluate, test, and validate Oracle Recruiting Cloud software and IT services.  This position will also assist in managing integrated systems with ORC like DocuSign, Accurate, and others.

Essential Functions/Requirements:


  • 5+ years working in the Information Technology area of HR, Payroll, or Recruiting

  • Experience utilizing an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) such as Taleo, Oracle Recruiting Cloud, or a similar system

  • 5+ years prior experience in an IT customer facing position

  • 3+ years managing IT resources (employees and contractors)

  • Understanding of field recruitment practices is preferred

  • Strong communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)

  • Possesses excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities; strong ability to think outside of the box

  • Willing and able to work extended hours beyond 40 hours per week including weekends when required

  • Works on projects that have enterprise-wide impact and integrate across the organization

  • Spearheads IT design, development, implementation, testing strategy, and architecture

  • 5+ years working with testing teams and a strong understanding of testing frameworks and tool sets

  • Must be comfortable working with remote onshore and offshore resources

  • Experience with preparing and submitting development estimates, testing estimates and project schedules

  • Plans, monitors, and tracks project teams’ work

  • Supports the prioritization of requirements and matches resources with requirements

  • Assists other IT managers in keeping the team aligned to the correct priorities and goals

  • Evaluates testability of business and technical requirements based on business/functional requirement document(s), use cases, user stories and/or solution design documents

  • Able to performs impact analysis on the change to existing architecture, work processes and systems

  • Works with the delivery organization to identify and resolve process problems when desired service outcomes are not being met

  • Identifies and recommends automation/performance process efficiencies
