Arthrex Manufacturing is actively seeking a Sr Manufacturing Engineer 2 to join our team in Ave Maria, FL. The Sr. Manufacturing Engineer 2 will be r esponsible for supporting Engineering Manager with all support for the life cycle development of Class I, II and III medical devices, including new product development and maintenance of released products. This includes design, develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes to produce cost effective quality medical device products and systems. Provide manufacturing engineering expertise to create, document and implement required procedures and documents. Excellent analytical skills, process improvement experience, manufacturing and/or machining background and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering technology are essential for this position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Education and Experience:
Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
Ability to work independently and effectively with cross functional teams.
Thorough understanding of manufacturing processes.
Detail oriented with strong analytical skills.
SPC (Statistical Process Control) knowledge.
Strong communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff.
Experienced user of MS Office Suite and CAD.
Experience with planning and conducting tests to validate equipment and processes.
Experience in completing technical documentation for engineering and manufacturing.
Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:
Metal cutting equipment, molding, EDM, grinding equipment, finishing equipment.
