Your Key Responsibilities
Defines and/or ensures implementation of accounting policies and guidelines and manages all accounting operations, for an assigned organization.
Implements and ensures compliance with accounting principles to facilitate audit requirements.
Ensures that designated bookings are accounted correctly and according to given standards and external regulations.
Collaborates with management to develop schedules, procedures, and systems to enable reporting of financial data and financial statements.
Responsible for performing the financial month-end close process and preparing financial statements and reports.
Responsible for timely and accurate reporting of monthly financial data (FACTS Reporting Package).
Responsible for quarterly and year-end financial reporting requirements.
Manage and develop assigned finance staff.
Take the lead role to maintain the IFRS lease accounting data files and prepare/review the associated general ledger postings.
Take the lead role to prepare the IFRS revenue recognition general ledger postings and other revenue recognition analyses as needed.
Responsible for preparation of the monthly account analysis for assigned general ledger accounts.
Review and reconcile all general ledger balance sheet accounts.
Manage the creation and processing of the SAP billings for non-production and administrative charges.
Interface with the Corporate Reporting and Corporate Accounting teams in Germany.
Support special accounting projects.
Responsible for assigned Accounting ICS controls and reporting.
Participate in the quarterly and year-end audit preparation of schedules and reconciliations.
Interface with internal and external auditors as required.
Support continuous improvement and process streamlining.
Your Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in accounting or finance.
Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
At least 5 years previous work experience in Finance or Controlling.
Solid understanding of financial accounting functions.
Experience performing the financial month-end close process.
Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS principles.
