Utilizing local offices with non-commissioned sales representatives, they offer a wide variety of retirement savings plans and services, including 401(k), 403(b), and 457(b) deferred compensation plans.  Mutual of America also provides investment vehicles to individuals for their retirement and other long-term financial needs.


Division: Marketing / Sales


Mutual of America has 33 Regional Offices and several Branch Offices located across the continental United States, (in addition to our New York City Headquarters and Boca Raton office). You'll report to the Vice President of the Rollover department and join a dedicated team of professionals who are all full of energy and enthusiasm and are highly driven to succeed. 


Responsibilities:


The Rollover Specialist will represent Mutual of America in a sales and customer service capacity supporting all participants.



  1. Retain assets of terminated participants by contacting and informing them of features and benefits of Mutual of America Rollover IRA

  2. Provide inbound support for IRA Rollover and annuity exchange requests

  3. Contact target customers to cross-sell financial products

  4. Follow up with external financial service provider to ensure that rollover / exchange requirements are completed in a timely manner

  5. Participates in marketing and asset retention programs


Required Qualifications:



  1. At least two years of sales experience or equivalent industry experience

  2. Individual sales experience and being comfortable with cold calling

  3. General business acumen with strong motivation and communication skills

  4. Ability to multitask, processing paperwork while on the phone

  5. Active FINRA Series 6 and 63 or must obtain within the first 90 days of employment

  6. Active State Life and Health Insurance License (in all states covered) required or obtained within 90 days of employment

  7. Able to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and possibly some Saturdays


Preferred Qualifications:



  1. Bachelor’s degree preferred

  2. Knowledge of products underwritten by the company (401k / 403b retirement plans and Traditional / Roth IRA’s)
