Program Manager, Consumer Drug Takeback at Inmar Rx Solutions, Inc.

Job Description:

The Program Manager, Consumer Drug Take Back will work in conjunction with the Manager of the team as well as with the Client Account Manager for Consumer Drug Takeback.  The new hire will work under the supervision of the Manager, Consumer Drug Takeback Solutions.

East Coast candidates preferred

 Under this supervision, the employee will serve in the following capacity:


  • Responsible for compliant and swift execution of the east coast National CDTB programs.

  • Work in conjunction with the sales organization to identify and strategically select locations throughout the state which would serve as kiosk drop off sites.

  • Serve as point of contact for all state program communication – be readily available to meet, interact and communicate with all outside stakeholders at the State or Federal level.

  • Create project plans for various tasks or smaller roll-outs within the program which advance the program, i.e. website functionality work, envelope placement in state, etc.

  • Plan, organize and carry out drug take back events as required by legislation and Inmar’s plan.

  • Complete required reporting and compile the end of year report to be sent to respective department of health organizations.

  • Serve as main point of contact from regulatory team internally – work with regional regulatory contact to ensure compliance.

  • Make operational based decisions regarding program while keeping the profit and loss assessment in mind.

  • Work with internal design team members to set up website and call center functionality as required to manage program.

  • Be willing to travel to regional areas to assist with audit of pharmacy locations after kiosk placement.

  • Work as the liaison between our host sites and the destruction partners that Inmar identifies.

As the National Consumer Drug Takeback program continues to evolve and grow, the associate will act as the first point of contact with the new customer – whether that is a retail partner or a manufacturer partner.  They will engage the client on a regular basis to make sure that they are satisfied with our level of service.  They will problem solve and then disseminate information appropriately should an issue arise and work to see that issue through to a resolution. 

The Consumer Drug Takeback Account Manager will be assigned projects in conjunction with the Manager, Consumer Drug Takeback Solutions and will be required to collaborate with both their manager as well as other members of other teams across the network. 

The program manager will be responsible for creating project plan documentation, setting expectations with all internal and external stakeholders, and seeing a large number of small projects through from inception to completion. 

They should feel very comfortable with public speaking, talking to smaller and larger groups both in person and over the phone/internet, and will be willing to travel to meet with clients for certain events. They will be someone that is trustworthy and can be counted on to work on tight deadlines and at a fast pace. 

Primary Accountabilities:

Operational Management (50%)


  • Plan and execute solution/service programs to meet client objectives

  • Assist operational teams with management of the program.  Be available to take on small projects which in turn contribute to the overall goal of the program.

  • Work closely with clients to assist with their overall needs of the program.

  • Provide ongoing support and superior service to both clients & internal teams

Strategic (20%)

  • Understand each client’s goals, challenges, marketing objectives & strategies

Influence (30%)


  • Establish and develop trusted relationships with assigned clients

  • Work in seamless coordination with other internal teams as it relates to the overall client experience of our clients.

Required Qualification:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field Or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the major responsibilities/essential functions of the position

  • Project management experience

  • 6-8 Years of related work experience (specific industry knowledge a plus)

  • Proficient with G-Suite

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Beginner with Salesforce.com

  • Competent with JIRA
