PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Act as the technical lead across various company projects consisting of on-prem solutions and evolving Microsoft cloud adoption initiatives
Use your experience with Microsoft cloud technologies and design principles to provide guidance for Kent as we continue our journey with Dynamics 365 and Azure based solutions.
Design, implement, and assist in maintaining technology solutions.
Performs the role of technical lead on projects
Collaborate and partner with various business units and architects to understand and refine project requirements
Communicate overall technical solution progress with leadership
Provide guidance and expertise in our expanding usage of various Microsoft Azure and D365 platform stacks
Participate in RFP process for various COTS and SaaS solutions by performing architectural and technical reviews
Work with enterprise architect and governance team defining, implementing, and governing best practices and standards
Mentor and share knowledge with various teams
Provide Tier 2 & 3 support of production Systems
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or similar discipline or equivalent work experience.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in technology roles with team leadership experience
3 years’ experience as a Solution Architect providing technical expertise in three or more of the architecture domains (Application, Technology, Data, Integration)
Strong Microsoft & Azure technology stack experience required
Azure and/or D365 Solution Architect certification a plus
Prior experience solutioning for and maintaining Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 a plus.
