Manage daily activities of master production schedule. Providing guidance, support, development, and leadership for production
Generate MPS from S&OP and actively participate in the evaluation of sales forecasts to determine production requirements
Develop Capacity Requirements Planning, Scheduling the bays and production based on capacity and specific job needs
Load firmed planned orders and/or forecasts to support existing and new requirements and adjust accordingly to accommodate changes in sales requirements, manufacturing capacity, and material availability
Prioritize and Communicate build plan changes to impacted stakeholders: Manufacturing, Purchasing, Finished Goods, and Plant Management / Supervisors as needed
Develop and manage key strategies / programs to drive continuous improvements and cost savings in scheduling and planning
Coordinate and supervise daily activities of department
Set priorities for the team to ensure task completion
Supervise the NC/Programming Team
What you'll need:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Demonstrated success with planning, capacity, and material requirements for multiple product lines at different product life stages
Computer proficient to include web browser/internet search, MS Outlook, MS Office to include Advanced Excel skills. Technical competence includes the ability to learn new software and systems
Adaptable and flexible. Must be able to positively react to changes impacting the planning and scheduling functions
Demonstrated ability to influence teams regarding planning, capacity, and material availability
