Summary:


Provides clinical data services for a data network operation, fulfilling requests in a timely manner; acts as a certified honest broker; abstracts data from the medical record or other institutional sources and accurately enters into a data collection system; provides documentation related to the use of the data collection systems used including any new procedures for collection of data; meets with investigators to determine their data requirements; aids upper-level data management staff as necessary.




Qualifications:


Required Education and Experience


1. Bachelor's degree and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience in a clinical trials and/or research environment; or
2. Associate's degree and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience in a clinical trials and/or research environment.


NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.



Preferred Qualifications:



The preferred candidate will have experience with the collection, entry and quality checks of clinical data, experience with REDCap and managing online databases, prior experience working with physicians and other research personnel, familiarity with medical terminology and extracting data from EHR, and experience with Microsoft Excel and Access
