We are looking for a talented Operations Manager, to join our Cummins Turbo Technologies team in Bloomfield, Connecticut, U.S. (On-Site)

To be successful in this role you will need the following:


  • Provides manufacturing leadership and improvement focus in operations driving results, creating and monitoring measures, providing motivation, and setting expectations in safety, quality, delivery and cost.

  • Manages, coaches, and develops staff; works with employees to set goals in training and development, performance, and career planning.

  • Communicates with customers, suppliers, shop floor, stakeholders, and staff. Leads annual operating plan, forecasts, and other measurements for manufacturing operations.

  • Develops talent - Developing people to meet both their career goals and the organization’s goals.


  • Minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience.

Skills:


  • Continuous Process Improvement - Recognizes areas in which a process can be improved by properly implementing process improvement and waste reduction methodologies to reduce process cost and improve quality in current manufacturing processes.

  • Builds effective teams - Building strong-identity teams that apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals.

  • Health and Safety Fundamentals - Champions and models proactive health and safety behaviors by identifying, reporting and participating in actions to improve health and safety in order to build an interdependent culture and contribute to an injury-free workplace.

Education:


  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant work experience.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
