Role Summary

Manages an operations team of front line leaders, professionals and support staff responsible for providing quality support servicing and administration support to clients. Responsible for ensuring that good client relations are maintained, and complex client issues are resolved fairly and effectively and in accordance with the regulatory requirements and consumer laws. Responsible for the achievement of team goals and objectives, talent management, and the supervision of team members.

Responsibilities:


  • Manages operations team of supervisors, professionals and support staff. Plans, allocates, and monitors workflow to ensure that client operations team activities are accurately and timely completed.

  • Ensures team adheres and manages to quality standards. Analyzes trends and recommends process enhancements to improve team performance and client experience.

  • Acts as an escalation point for complex problems that less experienced resources cannot solve. Provides guidance into analytics and decision-making processes.

  • Communicates with clients to support their operations needs and ensure client satisfaction. Communicates and triages any significant client issues with their relationship manager(s).

  • Recruits, directs, motivates, and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth, and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team.

  • Acts as operations point of contact for institutional and state client partners. Participates in strategic planning with client partners and drives execution in the front line business unit.

  • Works effectively in cross functional teams (within and outside the department) as project or product development leader. Assembles required resources and effectively drives strategic and discretionary efforts to completion.

Qualifications:

Required:


  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND

  • 5+ years of total relevant work experience

  • FINRA S. 7, 24, 53 licensing required (or attained within 90 days)
