The Zimmer Biomet instructional designer works with the internal and external teams to support all US Sales Organization learning projects. The role provides learning consulting and instructional design practices for traditional and emerging technologies. The ideal candidate approaches all projects with a needs based mindset that supports the business strategy. The instructional design requires foundational principles tied to the business opportunity, competencies, and learning instruction required to address diverse learning styles, opportunities, problems, and training needs of the US Sales Organization. The role will work with sales training team members, commercial and product engine teams, and other stakeholders to ensure business objectives are met through training curriculum.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

1. The ability to analyze needs and opportunities to design instructional best practices in a dynamic environment. 2. Uses internal and external research methods to design curriculum. 3. Collect information and interview subject matter experts to gain an understanding of approach, content, topics, and approach. 4. Provides a broad solution approach for instructional design across multiple channels working as a single delivery solution or blended as needed. 5. Provides expertise in writing and instructional design principles with proven organizational methods, frameworks, and foundational principles. 1. Assist in setting up instructional systems, processes, and practices for any corporate, local or regional training classes, webinars, and workshops. NaN. Manages projects using project management principles, tools, and resources to ensure scope and time expectations are met.

Must have competency in: Microsoft Office, course and curriculum design with outlines and storyboards that meet both traditional classroom, print, digital, mobile, web, and online training tied to a Learning Management System (LMS), Social Media applications, and/or continuous learning environments.

Education/Experience Requirements

Master’s degree or equivalent in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, or other relevant field with two or more years’ related experience is required. Two or more years of online, mobile or blended learning are strongly preferred.
