About the Position:



Using excellent customer service and sound decision making, a Recovery Specialist at Crescent Bank will work to mitigate company losses by reviewing, assigning, and following through on the recovery of defaulted customer vehicles.



 



The person in this role should be able to gain a full understanding of Crescent Bank recovery processes and procedures within the first three months in the position. By month six, the person in this role should be able to demonstrate drive and initiative to process recoveries with limited supervision/assistance. By the end of the first year, the person in this role can expect to be trusted to complete assigned recoveries within compliance and regulatory guidelines with limited errors.



 



What we are looking for:



To find success in this position, a candidate should have 3-5 years of experience in the subprime auto collections field and an expert understanding of asset recovery and remarketing processes and procedures. Adaptability, time management, and customer service skills will be critical to success in this role.

Additional Information:




  • 3-5 years of experience in subprime auto collections


  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) equivalent


  • Strong understanding of  FDCPA, FCRA, UDAAP and all state and federal regulations


  • Adaptability to change on a day to day basis and assist in all areas of the recovery department 


  • Critical skills include: time management, decision making, communication, problem solving, and customer service


  • Knowledge within the Impound Process
